Administrators
Wealth management is not an end but a means. To increase and preserve wealth. A manager is necessary unless you have the time and expertise yourself. But how do you choose the right manager?
Wealth management is not an end but a means. A means to increase or preserve wealth. And a manager is necessary unless you have your own time and expertise. But how do you choose the right manager or the right way? Sometimes the way and manager is tied to a product. For example, consider a pension where the pension fund is the administrator and sets the way. Or an annuity; more freedom than a pension but it is a product with conditions and restrictions and not every investment fits that.
There are a few key factors: cost, investment policy, return and trust, and taxation. However, that doesn't allow you to make a choice, because who meets those criteria? How do they handle you and your money, what do they do if you have a question or if there is a crisis, and is my money safe?
We have years of experience with all of these questions. With selecting, monitoring and challenging managers. So that you not only have security, but also peace of mind and returns. Because we have no other interest in choosing the right asset manager, you can be assured that we are at least as critical as you are.
Is getting in now a good idea?
We get this question all the time from first-time investors; after all, you don't want to overpay, but you also don't want to miss the boat or just get in when prices drop the next day. The good answer is that any time is a good time; after all, the future is unpredictable and if everyone is convinced that the price will rise then it already has and vice versa so the price today is the balance between pessimists and optimists. Finally, there is an investment wisdom that prevents outliers: save a fixed amount each month. That way the variations are smoothed out a bit and if the stock market is low for once you buy in cheaply and if it is high your whole portfolio is worth more.
